In this panel discussion, we will meet representatives from different groups working on specific policy issues including Egyptians Against Coal (Ahmad el Droubi), Harassmap (Hussein el Shafei), and the Shadow Ministry of Housing (Yahia Shawkat). The idea is to explore how they organize, come together, act and engage with policy makers without necessarily being officially recognized as political actors. We will have the opportunity to ask them interesting questions about their modes of organization, their internal struggles and their plans for future engagement.
